WLAN-Specific Tester for RF TRx Evaluation
Anritsu’s cost-effective Wireless LAN (WLAN) tester MT8862A supports RF TRx evaluation of WLAN IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be (2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, and 6 GHz bands) chipset and device in Network Mode.
Engineers can apply MT8862A to test devices for a wide range of applications including IoT, XR, wearable, and automotive.
RF characteristics such as higher modulation accuracy (EVM), spectrum characteristics and packet error rate (PER) can be visually confirmed by graphical results and pass/fail decisions as well as numerical results.
Reliable Wi-Fi 7 (IEEE 802.11be) Testing
MT8862A enables the RF evaluation of devices supporting bandwidth of up to 320 MHz, 4096QAM, and 2x2 MIMO, as defined in Wi-Fi 7 (IEEE 802.11be). In addition, with this state-of-the-art capability, MT8862A supports the evaluation of Wi-Fi 7 signal quality with Network Mode. Network Mode is useful for the Over-The-Air (OTA) wireless performance testing under practical operating conditions owing to a wide dynamic range of MT8862A.
Extensive Legacy Standard Support

The MT8862A provides a flexible platform with compatibility across historical 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax to the latest 802.11be, ensuring long-term investment value. By swiftly adapting to the latest standards within the same hardware platform, MT8862A has earned high levels of custome trust, positioning it as the preferred solution for accurate WLAN testing and adaptability for the future.
